When Go on Girl! Book Club announced the first six months of their 2017 Reading List, we were delighted to find Creative Cache author, Donna Drew Sawyer’s, Provenance, in the company of so many great books and authors. The club’s January selection, Hidden Figures by Margot Lee Shetterly, inspired the record-breaking film of the same name. Others on the list include, Luvvie Ajayi’s I’m Judging You (February); Stand Your Ground by Victoria Christopher Murray (March); Behold the Dreamers by Imbolo Mbue (April) and, Rion Amilcar Scott’s Insurrections (June). Congratulations authors and publishers—this was not an easy list to make!

Go On Girl! Book Club is one of the largest national reading organizations for black women. The club currently has over 30 Chapters in 16 states. It was founded in 1991 in New York City by Monique Greenwood, Lynda Johnson, and Tracy Mitchell. More information on Go On Girl!
