We create and curate media – books, digital content and events – that inform, inspire and empower. We publish and produce media that matters.

What is Media that Matters

It is communication that informs, is substantive, provocative and challenges you to think. Our bargain with our audience is to only provide media with a positive impact. When you read the books we publish, hear our authors speak or attend our events, then say, “I can’t stop thinking about that,” or “I learned something today” or, “Now, I understand,” then we’ve achieved our objective, delivering media that matters, to you.

Donna Drew Sawyer

In an expansive saga that weaves historical fact with fiction across five decades and three generations, PROVENANCE is about an American family determined to escape the barriers of race, class and gender. In challenging a privileged society designed to make it impossible to achieve anything, PROVENANCE’S flawed and captivating characters succeed by gaining unparalleled access to everything. However, they must ultimately come to terms with who they are—evoking Shakespeare’s caution, to thine own self be true—or pay the price for living a lie.

PROVENANCE is a unique, exciting and emotional tale about the redemptive power of love, the healing influence of the arts and the ultimate aspiration—freedom.
